The motel nearest to Oasis, the nightclub where we're holding our wedding, is the Best Western Civic Center Motor Inn, three short blocks away at 364 Ninth Street at Harrison. They may be already booked.

Hotel Des Arts has relatively inexpensive accommodations and fabulous modern art murals in every room at 447 Bush near Chinatown and Union Square.

Hotel EPIK has similarly reasonable rates, but it's in the Tenderloin. We wouldn't recommend leisurely late-night strolls around the neighborhood.

The Phoenix Hotel, about a mile away at 601 Eddy at Larkin, remains a popular choice for touring rock 'n' rollers.

And for those who long for the famous Castro district, where we live, we suggest Beck's Motor Lodge - especially if you're also renting a car. (Unlike most SF accomodations, Beck's offers free parking.) If you're not, there's The Parker Guest House at 520 Church Street at 18th.

If you have no initial luck with Airbnb, we recommend that you keep checking: Listings come and go; good ones can be found if you're persistant and patient.
